MPP electrical conduits are manufactured using modified polypropylene as the primary material, enabling installation without extensive excavation, earthmoving, or surface disruption. They are ideally suited for laying pipelines, power cables, and other utility lines beneath roadways, railway tracks, buildings, riverbeds, and other challenging environments. Compared with the traditional “trench‑laying” method, trenchless pipe jacking offers greater alignment with contemporary environmental standards. By eliminating the dust storms and traffic congestion typically associated with conventional construction, this technology also allows for pipeline installation in areas where open‑cut excavation is impractical.

Precautions for Grooving and Burial of MPP Electrical Conduits
MPP electrical conduits have gained widespread adoption thanks to their numerous advantages. During construction, it is essential to develop a comprehensive project plan and meticulously execute each step of the work; only then can the overall performance of the installation be optimized. Grooving, which involves cutting channels into the subgrade, is an indispensable part of conduit installation, particularly in underground projects.
1. The spacing between pipe supports is 2 meters. The distance between a pipe support and a joint should be approximately 0.5 meters.
2. MPP electrical conduit installation can be carried out manually, without the need for large or medium-sized machinery; however, it is essential to ensure that personnel on the ground pass the pipe sections to the installation crew at the bottom of the trench, and rolling the pipes is strictly prohibited.
3. The spigot-and-socket joint is a common method for connecting MPP pipes.
4. Backfilling of MPP electrical conduits shall be carried out only after the concealed works have been inspected and accepted. The primary requirement is that backfilling must be performed promptly.
5. Before performing pipe‑fitting butt jointing, clean the exterior of the pipe socket and, if necessary, remove any debris from inside the rubber gasket to ensure a smooth connection and help prevent water leakage.
